Loving My Journey
Hello Fit Fam,
I am trying to stay true to my goals of 2025 but I am finding it hard this year. I wanted to be consistent and see progress. Although I genuinely do think I am making progress, I am finding consistency to be a challenge. I have been lazy, and tired, and let excuses get in my way too many times to count in a month and a half!
We are in the middle of February and in honor of Valentine's Day I am deciding to love my journey. No matter how imperfect it might be or inconsistent! I have found some success in small moments. I am working out, I am finding ways to eat better. I am being more intentional about my family life. I am still needing to work on work-life balance but I am getting there. I have lost sight of my fitness career. I moved into this amazing new path with digital marketing and I am starting to see that time is just so limited. It doesn't mean I cannot still continue to grow professionally as a fitness professional, it just might look and feel very different from what it used to be. I am not able to dedicate the time or energy to my content and growing a client base like I want to. I am purely doing this for the love of fitness.
This is a tough change of pace for me and I really miss being in the thick of what I love. This doesn't mean I don't love my new career path and that I am not stooked to be growing professionally, it is just in a different direction. I may be backing off the content right now and only making a blog post once a month. A couple posts to my social media accounts throughout the week but I am still working on me and better yet I am loving the journey.
So if you are in a season of change or just went through a fairly large season of change, you got this! Life will settle and normalize. You will find joy in the little things. And if you are not finding joy, then maybe you need a change of scenery or at least a change of perspective. There is always good in your life, you just have to see it!
I leave you with this...how did yesterday get you to today, what is one thing that you are looking forward to tomorrow, and what is one thing that went right today? Reflect, look forward, and be thankful in the moment!
I promise you, you got this!
Keep Calm and Exercise On,
